Best coffee shops in Elk Grove Village?

Hey, The median home value here is around $334,400, which seems about average. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Median household income is $95,216, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a smaller city city with about 32,132 people. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I overthinking this? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 12 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Meadowbrook side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
