Best coffee shops in Elk River?

OK so Homes are going for about $338,300 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 26,367 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Elk River sits at 59.8 per 100K. Average temperature is around 44--F, so bundle up in winter. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Any help is appreciated. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Chicago it's solid.

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's been a really good experience overall. Internet is tough in most areas.

As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. housing market used to be much stable but now it's solid.
