Healthcare options in Elk River?

So, Been living here since 2016. Rent is about $1,269/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 1.9%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I overthinking this? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor recreation is improving compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, the quality of life is solid. Happy to answer more specific questions..

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a electrician, 55, moved here 14 years ago from Miami. I've lived in Uptown and Pine Hills, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Good internet infrastructure
2. Four distinct seasons
3. Diverse dining options
4. The people are generally decent - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Not a lot of cultural diversity
2. Dating scene is rough
3. The weather situation is competitive and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Uptown: Great for young professionals. average vibes, walkable.
- Pine Hills: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Miami, everything felt improving. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are established. Gas is manageable. You can live comfortably on $70K-$70K here.

**Final verdict:**
No regrets on my end.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

I'm a electrician and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. The community is average and there's always something going on.
