Hey folks, I've been here for 13 years and It's a a smaller city city with about 26,367 people. The median home value here is around $338,300, which seems about average. With a population of 26,367, Elk River is a smaller city. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
