Best industries in Elkridge right now

Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from Memphis and Crime rate is something to consider -Elkridge sits at 593.4 per 100K. With a population of 26,183, Elkridge is a smaller city. Rent is about $2,206/month for a decent place. Median household income is $135,412, which feels pretty solid for the area. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
