So, Military spouse here. The unemployment rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $2,206 for rent here. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
