Hey everyone, I'm retired and The unemployment rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Would love some local perspective. Thanks! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is outdoor recreation. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..

We moved here with our family and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Schools in Downtown area are underrated. Kids love it here.
