Not sure if this has been asked before, but We have two kids and Rent is about $1,258/month for a decent place. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Any advice would be great. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
