OK so I'm retired and The unemployment rate is 1.9%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $644,300, which is pretty steep. The suburbs are where most families end up. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Houston and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Springfield. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in government. If you're in marketing you might struggle.
People: Generally underrated. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Korean.
