Rent is about $955/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Would love some local perspective. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
