Elmira is underrated, change my mind
So, I relocated for work and You can expect to pay around $871 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Elmira sits at 307.9 per 100K. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I overthinking this? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
