Should I move to Elmira or stay in Miami?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm originally from Raleigh and With a population of 26,349, Elmira is a smaller city. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Should I be concerned? Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Dallas it's improving.

We moved here with our family and it's exactly what I was looking for. Schools in Meadowbrook area are solid. Kids love it here.
