Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm retired and Crime rate is something to consider -Elmore sits at 486.2 per 100K. Homes are going for about $97,000 on average. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Am I wrong here? The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
