Honest thoughts on life in Elmwood Park

Longtime lurker here, The unemployment rate is 4.5%, which is about average. With a population of 23,982, Elmwood Park is a small town. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The suburbs are where most families end up.

I work in tech here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is better than expected. No regrets on my end..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it was the best decision I ever made. Compared to New York it's hit or miss.
