Been meaning to ask this. Been living here since 2022. Crime rate is something to consider -Elmwood Park sits at 124.4 per 100K. With a population of 21,287, Elmwood Park is a small town. It's a a small town city with about 21,287 people. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I overthinking this? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to.
