Curious what people think. Household incomes average around $170,987 in Elwood. Median household income is $170,987, which feels pretty solid for the area. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Should I be concerned? Any help is appreciated.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Raleigh it's pretty good.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.
I've been here 8 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is surprisingly good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
