Is Embreeville walkable?

Random thought, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and It's a a small town city with about 1,007 people. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Is this normal for Embreeville? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

I work in education here and it exceeded my expectations. The job market for my field is pretty good. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 15 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into running, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the South side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if safety matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
