Random thought, I grew up here but left for a while. Poverty rate is 7.8%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $209,700, which is actually reasonable. Rent is about $1,410/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. Any help is appreciated.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cultural scene. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.
