Things Encinitas needs to improve

Curious what people think. You can expect to pay around $2,730 for rent here. It's a a smaller city city with about 61,585 people. Homes are going for about $1,466,000 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Thanks! It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 7 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
