Anyone regret moving to Endicott?

I'm originally from Las Vegas and Crime rate is something to consider -Endicott sits at 659.8 per 100K. Household incomes average around $46,685 in Endicott. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Should I be concerned? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Miami about 7 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are developing, gas is tough.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
