Is Endicott worth moving to in 2026?

I relocated for work and Rent is about $822/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $46,685 in Endicott. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Should I be concerned? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 14 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Springfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

Hot take but I have mixed feelings honestly. I know a lot of people disagree but after 3 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I'm a sales manager and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is average and there's always something going on.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. No regrets on my end..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Tampa it's tough.

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are competitive. You get used to it after the first year.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from San Diego, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Close to major attractions
- The job market scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
