Quick question about Enfield

Alright, I'm a remote worker and Poverty rate is 19.8%, which is higher than I expected. Rent is about $580/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Enfield sits at 1,005.2 per 100K. It's a a small town city with about 1,967 people. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Am I overthinking this? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to Raleigh it's surprisingly good.

Came here for retirement and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The public transit is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I'm a HR manager and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is decent and there's always something going on.
