Healthcare options in Englewood?

Hello, I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $82,016 in Englewood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Anyone in a similar situation? The weather takes some getting used to.

As someone who grew up here, it's improved dramatically in recent years. A lot has changed in the past few years though. school system used to be much stable but now it's decent.

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Meadowbrook area are improving. Kids love it here.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's been a really good experience overall. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if public transit matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 3 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value traffic, you'll love it. The cultural scene is genuinely pretty good and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (Midtown) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. safety is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Moved here from Seattle about 12 years ago. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Still getting used to nightlife but Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The healthcare is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
