Is Englewood a good place to live?

Anyone else feel this way? We have two kids and It's a a small town city with about 19,385 people. The median home value here is around $295,600, which seems about average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in East. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in construction. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The pet-friendliness is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I'm a physical therapist and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.
