OK so I've been here for 9 years and Crime rate is something to consider -Ennis sits at 84.6 per 100K. Median household income is $72,772, which feels about average for the area. Homes are going for about $225,900 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Should I be concerned? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
