Anyone regret moving to Enterprise?

Household incomes average around $68,306 in Enterprise. You can expect to pay around $1,058 for rent here. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Atlanta about 12 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Lots of new development happening
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are established, gas is underrated.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Feel free to reach out with questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Phoenix and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Downtown. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in education. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

Definitely worth checking out..

I work in consulting here and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The job market for my field is average. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Fairview for 12 years. Moved from Austin for weather. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is improving. We bought in 2018 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. Older homes are where the value is.

**Employment:**
tech is strong here. marketing is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are manageable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The outdoor scene is tough - we have mountains within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Fairview schools are surprisingly good. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Summers can be brutally hot. Limited high-paying job options. And traffic can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For young professionals, I'd say this is a 6/10. Good luck with whatever you decide.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Bought a house here in 2018 and it's exactly what I was looking for. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
