Hi all, The median home value here is around $449,300, which is pretty steep. Median household income is $93,980, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 68°F, so the weather is moderate. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Should I be concerned? Cheers. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much.

We moved here with our family and the quality of life is solid. Schools in Riverside area are better than expected. Kids love it here.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Sunset. It's excellent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in marketing. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally challenging. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Italian.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's exactly what I was looking for. Hope this helps!.

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, No regrets on my end..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Phoenix and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Cedar Grove. It's excellent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in retail you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.
