Been meaning to ask this. I'm a college student here and Median household income is $116,563, which feels pretty solid for the area. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Thoughts? Appreciate any input.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value safety, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely tough and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Riverside) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Portland, be prepared for the culture shock. walkability is completely different here. And Limited high-paying job options.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've been living here for 14 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The school system is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cultural scene, then yeah this place is great. But if safety matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
