How is Erie for outdoor activities?

Longtime lurker here, I'm originally from Houston and Homes are going for about $685,900 on average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Anyone in a similar situation?

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. the quality of life is solid. Worth doing your research before committing.

Came here for school and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The cost of living is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
