Been meaning to ask this. I'm a college student here and It's a a small town city with about 6,001 people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Let me know your thoughts. Any help is appreciated.

Used to live on the West side, now on the Riverside side. Completely different vibe. it exceeded my expectations.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Downtown. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in construction. If you're in marketing you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
Would recommend to anyone considering it..

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Downtown area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.
