Worst things about Escondido nobody talks about

Been meaning to ask this. We're a young couple and Household incomes average around $84,477 in Escondido. It's a a mid-size city city with about 150K people. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider — Escondido sits at 349.8 per 100K. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

I've been living here for 5 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The job market is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..

Came here for school and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The traffic is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
