What surprised you most about Euclid?

OK so Been living here since 2021. You can expect to pay around $984 for rent here. Household incomes average around $48,696 in Euclid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What would you do? Appreciate any input.

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The walkability is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from Chicago about 1 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- Lots of new development happening

Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are pricey, gas is challenging.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Uptown. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in legal. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Phoenix about 15 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size

Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are pricey, gas is pretty good.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Hope this helps!.

Hot take but it's been a really good experience overall. I know a lot of people disagree but after 8 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Public transit is improving here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in North for 2 years. Moved from Salt Lake City for my partner's job. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is hit or miss. We bought in 2015 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts.

**Employment:**
hospitality is strong here. tech is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are stable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The outdoor scene is decent - we have lakes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. North schools are excellent. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Summers can be brutally hot. Property taxes are high. And healthcare can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 7/10. Give it a chance - it might surprise you.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value dating scene, you'll love it. The nightlife is genuinely challenging and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (Uptown) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Austin, be prepared for the culture shock. weather is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Pine Hills. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in construction. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Korean.

No regrets on my end..
