So, We're a young couple and Homes are going for about $294,500 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Houston and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Midtown. It's average for what you get.
Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in government. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like seafood.
