Moving to Euless for work -advice?

First post here. With a population of 60,373, Euless is a smaller city. Household incomes average around $80,987 in Euless. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Midtown. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in government. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
