What surprised you most about Euless?

Military spouse here. Crime rate is something to consider -Euless sits at 184.1 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,606 for rent here. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. Should I be concerned?

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value housing market, you'll love it. The nightlife is genuinely challenging and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Oak Park) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Nashville, be prepared for the culture shock. school system is completely different here. And Homeless population growing downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

The food scene here is underrated. Tons of great Italian places. the quality of life is solid.
