What's it really like living in Euless?

Been meaning to ask this. Rent is about $1,606/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 5.2%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Worth the trade-offs? Thanks for reading. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Uptown. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in finance. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.
