Cost of living reality check -Eureka

I'm retired and Median household income is $108,947, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 58--F, so the weather is moderate. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Does this match your experience?

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Pittsburgh it's decent.

The food scene here is tough. Tons of great farm-to-table places. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
