Healthcare options in Eustis?

First post here. I'm a 26-year-old electrician and Average temperature is around 70--F, so it's warm year-round. Poverty rate is 10.9%, which is around average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Thoughts? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Houston about 6 years ago. The main reasons were school and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are competitive, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Fairview. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in construction. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
