Anyone else feel this way? Born and raised here. Median household income is $52,251, which feels on the lower side for the area. Rent is about $949/month for a decent place. It's a a mid-size city city with about 116K people. Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I wrong here? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
