Career opportunities in Evansville, WI

I relocated for work and Rent is about $941/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Used to live on the Fairview side, now on the North side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Hot take but it's been a really good experience overall. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Lots of new development happening
- The pet-friendliness scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for retirees. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Midtown. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in retail. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cultural scene, then yeah this place is great. But if outdoor recreation matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Happy to answer more specific questions..
