Everett is underrated, change my mind

Hey everyone, I'm a 46-year-old software engineer and Household incomes average around $79,658 in Everett. The unemployment rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $79,658, which feels about average for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Everett sits at 519.1 per 100K. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Has anyone dealt with this? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 4 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
