Career opportunities in Everett, WA

The median home value here is around $532,300, which is pretty steep. You can expect to pay around $1,675 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Would love some local perspective. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

We moved here with our family and it's exactly what I was looking for. Schools in South area are better than expected. Kids love it here.

I've been living here for 15 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The public transit is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Austin it's improving.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Sunset. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
