Curious what people think. I've been here for 17 years and It's a a small town city with about 2,989 people. Household incomes average around $82,750 in Everson. Rent is about $1,216/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,216 for rent here. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Thoughts? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.
I've been here 15 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is solid.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Definitely worth checking out..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is weather. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.
