Relocating to Ewa Beach, HI -pros and cons?

Longtime lurker here, I'm a college student here and You can expect to pay around $2,554 for rent here. Household incomes average around $124,958 in Ewa Beach. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. What do you all think? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The safety scene is improving

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Good luck with whatever you decide..
