Anyone else love living in Ewa Gentry?
Been meaning to ask this. I'm single, late 30s, and With a population of 26,738, Ewa Gentry is a smaller city. The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
Pros:
- Good schools
- Good healthcare facilities
- Walkable downtown
Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Rising rent prices
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Poor road conditions
- Far from major airports
Anyone in a similar situation? The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
