Freelancing from Fair Lawn -experience?

Hey folks, I'm a college student here and Rent is about $1,908/month for a decent place. It's a a smaller city city with about 35,153 people. The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Worth the trade-offs? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
