Job market in Fair Lawn for tech?

Anyone else feel this way? Poverty rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value healthcare, you'll love it. The community vibe is genuinely better than expected and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (Maple Ridge) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from San Francisco, be prepared for the culture shock. school system is completely different here. And Property taxes are high.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Came here for family and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The job market is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've lived in Riverside for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of new development happening
- The walkability scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

My experience has been mostly positive. I'm still on the fence after all this time. The only thing I'd watch out for is nightlife. Other than that, Hope this helps!.
