Things Fair Lawn needs to improve

Alright, Just moved here 14 months ago and Household incomes average around $147,952 in Fair Lawn. Crime rate is something to consider -Fair Lawn sits at 21.2 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Am I overthinking this? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 9 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
