Raising a family in Fairbanks -thoughts?
Alright, I grew up here but left for a while. Crime rate is something to consider -Fairbanks sits at 784.3 per 100K. Homes are going for about $255,700 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Should I be concerned? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
