Cheapest neighborhoods in Fairborn?

Hi all, I grew up here but left for a while. Median household income is $55,966, which feels about average for the area. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 8 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Lots of new development happening
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are affordable, gas is decent.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Hope this helps!.
